A local company sought out Casey's Welding & Fabrication about an issue they were having with a impact crusher. The machine lacked routine maintenance and it took its toll on the equipment. Raw aggregate had worn through the machines wear liners and all of the way through the machines housing. The housing needed to be replaced and the rotor needed to be built back up to the manufacturers recommendations.
Casey's Welding & Fabrication was able to replace the worn housing and replace all of the worn wear liners. The rotor was built back up to the manufacturer specs with a certain welding process and properly balanced. Once the rotor was built back up, it was then hardfaced to even further increase the wear life.
